Our History

Founded in June 2005 by Casey Sampico, our company is built on a legacy of craftsmanship, entrepreneurial grit, and an unwavering commitment to transforming spaces. Casey’s journey began in a close-knit family of carpenters – his grandfather and six uncles, all masters of their trade. Surrounded by the hum of saws and the scent of fresh lumber, Casey learned early on that quality construction isn’t just a job; it’s an art form.

His entrepreneurial spirit sparked at age 8, delivering newspapers as a Toledo Blade paperboy. By 12, he was swinging hammers on his uncles’ construction sites, soaking up the skills that would shape his future. At 16, Casey took his first bold step into business, passing out fliers for “Casey’s Painting and Home Maintenance” with a vision to make homes shine. His ambition only grew—by 22, he was a licensed realtor, and in 2004, he launched a real-estate investment company, mastering the art of turning properties into dream homes. These experiences laid the groundwork for Castleton Painting & General Remodeling, which evolved into the dynamic Castleton Service Group LLC we know today.

Since 2005, we’ve grown into a trusted name in home and business remodeling, driven by a handpicked team of skilled professionals and enduring partnerships with subcontractors who share our passion for excellence. I can not say enough good things about this service group! Boe was quick to come for estimates and work was done soon after! We had them panel our basement, paint ceiling in basement, tile basement bathroom, new toilet in basement bathroom, new wooden front and back steps, paint upstairs bathroom, new floor in that bathroom, new tile ceiling in bathroom, replaced our six foot fence in backyard! New stainless kitchen sink! Workers were ALWAYS on time, polite and put up with our four dogs! I would not ask anyone else to do any repairs in our house! You won’t be disappointed!

Castleton Group has been incredibly trustworthy and my go-to for the renovations on my condo. I’ve had my kitchen, a full bathroom and a bedroom renovated so far and I plan to have my master bedroom and bathroom renovated in the future. The kitchen was in 2022 and the bathroom and bedroom in 2023. We had the kitchen completely gutted; cabinets, countertops and floor. We set up a new island where we reran the gas line to have gas cooking. Even a wall separating the kitchen and living room area was removed that has completely transformed the place. I get compliments for it all of the time. They work with me on my schedule. I’ve been able to trust them in my home while I work from home, even when I had to leave at times. They treat me like family.

I couldn’t be happier with our kitchen remodel! From the design to the finishing touches, Boe was on time, professional, and stuck to the budget quoted. His list of companies for ordering cabinets, tile, flooring, etc created a seamless process with helping us stick to the budget in our quote, while still picking our dream kitchen!
His crew were friendly, arrived promptly at 8A, and cleaned up every day after themselves. It was easy to ask questions about each step, and to get detailed answers so we could make informed decisions about how to proceed. We will definitely be using them again when we do our next remodel, and I’ve recommended them to all my friends.
